Halloween / G&G visit

The month of October was a busy one for us, but a REALLY FUN one. We had Dave & Michelle's family come and then had a week break and got lucky to have Grandma & Grandpa come and stay for a week. Carter loved all the visitors this month. I think we even wore him out a few times.( which we all know is hard to do) Here are some pictures of the fun activities we did while they were here.

Pumpkin Patch:

Carter loved this Pumpkin Patch, Obviously we went twice this year and he loved it both times!

Halloween Night-Trunk-or-Treat at the church:

RRRRROOOOAAARRR! We had a dino living at our house! Carter loved his costume. He did get hot in it, but it was a pretty cool night so that helped. He really got into saying "Trick or Treat" it was really fun this year to see him want to go around to all the cars, and even when we finished was begging any of us to take him around again. Grandpa was kind enough to walk around with him.

Having fun!
The Cutest Dino around!

being silly!
All of us at the end of the night.

We also ate at some of the best places here in San Diego while they were here! They were all so good. If you would like to know where let me know and I would be happy to tell you. I think they are hidden secrets! We already miss you G&G!

Preschool Halloween

Carter and I attend this wonderful Preschool class through San Diego Continuing Education Program every Wednesday from 9-12 for 2-3 year old's, it is such a wonderful class and we have both enjoyed it this year. It is a great way to introduce kids into Preschool without the Separation.

Carter and I have really enjoyed Teacher Helen, she hold's wonderful discussions about how to deal with 2 year old's, discipline tactics, and how to manage your time with a 2 year old and just answers any questions you might have about your kid. One thing that I have enjoyed, is she goes around the room and asks each parent each week what their gripe or brag for your kid that week is,. It is so nice to see that some people are going through the same thing, or what I have to look forward to.

The Wednesday before Halloween we had a Costume Parade and the kids went around to the staff and got treats. It was a great way to kick of Halloween.

Playing in the Classroom

He loves these Peg Boards-Especially throwing them all around the room :)

Partners in Crime! They were standing up on this and kept hiding and then peeking their heads out and trying to scare everyone. It was so cute!

Getting pictures with Teacher Helen! That is a hard task with 30 2-3 year old!
waiting to go Trick or Treating around to the office staff.

**This last week 11/11 went to Balboa Park with the Preschool and here are a few pictures of that to share!

Teacher Helen & Carter-He loves her!
Carter and his friends, these friends are also from our playgroup so Carter knows them well. They are so cute!

Friends visit

A couple of weeks ago we had our wonderful friends Dave, Michelle and their family come and stay with us for almost a week. We had so much fun. We went to Seaworld with them, Coronado, and lets not forget the most important-THE BYU GAME!! It was so fun. Sammy and Carter are the same age and they had so much fun together. Carter even warmed up to Katelynn who is 5 months old and by the time she left he didn't get mad when I would hold her.

Carter being silly at the Tailgate Party! Funny little story- We wanted to get Carter a hat that day of BYU because it was such a hot day well he heard me ask the lady how much for the hat? and Carter was over looking at the footballs and then the lady went over to him and he asked"How much-Football?" We ended up with a hat and a football. Carter did great at the game- I was super suprised. The football we got him helped. He held it the whole time.
Before the game
Starting the Tradition already!

end result during the last 10 min of the game.

Pumpkin Patch

Carter is really big into Pumpkins this year, every time we see one whether it is in the Store, at someone's house on their porch, or even just the plastic ones he has to say with such enthusiasm "Mom, Mom-a PUmpKin. It is so cute.

A couple of weeks ago we were able to go with Carter's Preschool to this Pumpkin Patch and a dairy Farm. Carter and all the kids had SO much fun. It was great. We went on a hayride around the Dairy and learned all about the cows. We learned that the farm uses the manure to provide electricity to 4 houses and the whole dairy farm..I thought that was pretty amazing. That must be a lot of Poop! :)

Everyone was so excited to see these cows, which was so funny to me growing up on a farm and raising cows almost every winter. Silly City folk! :) It was a great time and were able to go with some new friends from our Church ward-Jenica, Shane, and Devon. Carter loves those little boys!

He is cute as a farmer!

General Conference

I don't talk much about my faith on here, but this is just something that I can't put out of my mind. Just to explain every 6 months we get to hear from our apostles and prophet via television or internet. It is such an uplifting opportunity as we get to hear what we are doing good in our lives and what we can certainly improve on. I always come away feeling like I can make it in life, but this conference truly brought tears to my eyes, as I felt that every talk was just for me and what I have felt I needed. I came away feeling so much joy and excitement about the gospel, and a renewed sense of peace in my life that I have never felt before. If you are a member or not I PROMISE you will enjoy all the talks and feel as I did- an overwhelming joy just from listening to it. You will be uplifted in every way possible. Here is the link if you would like to enjoy on- lds.org My favorite talk this year was Sunday Morning- President Monson's talk. It touched my heart! Love to all! Hope you enjoy or enjoyed it as much as I did.

2 Year Status

I took Carter in today to get his well check visit for being 2. They were as always shocked at how big he is. They are so cute with him and tell him how they just could squeeze him. Here is where Carter is on his growing:

Weight: 38 lbs--Above the 95%
Height: 36 1/2"--90%
Head: 21 1/4"-They didn't tell me this, but lets just say mine is only 28"

Okay, so everyone says that you should double their height at 2 so if I did this that means that Carter will be 6 feet 1 inch when he is done growing. We love you Carter and love that you are a big, healthy, and sweet little boy!
